You can trust that your order will be quickly processed and safely delivered. We can ship products anywhere in the United States & most countries Worldwide using the shipping method of your choice. When you place an order, we will estimate delivery dates based upon the availability of your item(s), shipping method selected and your shipment's destination. All of our shipments are insured in case they are damaged or lost.
Our shipping charges are determined by the total weight and size of your order, excluding applicable sales tax. We give multiple options for cost comparison. Please look at all the different options because the cost can vary greatly depending on the carrier. Some products cannot be shipped to International destinations so please submit a message to us from the Contact Us page if you would like to discuss international ordering options.
How we calculate your shipping costs:
In order to keep your shipping costs as low as possible, we calculate your shipping based on the size of the item and it's weight. Using a formula, the computer will estimate the cost to ship your item(s). However, on occasion the computer does make a mistake and will accidentally overcharge for shipping. If this does happen, we will gladly refund the amount that you were over-charged. Most of the time we discover that this has happened after we package your items in a box for shipping and weigh the box.
About Shipping Large Items (Balloon size or Oversize):
Almost all the shipping companies have a limit to the size of the box they will accept and charge extra for boxes over 84" girth for USPS and 30 cubic inches for UPS. Currently, we ship all our large items via FedEx Ground. Unfortunately, in our shipping estimates the computer will not compute the cost for FedExGround. We are working on getting this fixed. Until then, if you would like an exact cost to ship your item you will need to contact us at customerservice@kraftykatscuriosityshop.com. Or you can simply select USPS Parcel Post and we will refund any overcharge that may result.
About delays and damages:
Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for UPS or the USPS if an item is delayed. If an item ever does get lost in the mail, we will try to help you locate it. However, sometimes it is just becomes lost in the "system". All packages are shipped with a tracking number.
Insurance:
Because Krafty Kats cannot be responsible if items like your Laurel Burch cat or Bearington bears are lost or damaged during shipping, insurance is purchased for every item we ship. For UPS shipping, all orders are insured by UPS. All USPS orders are automatically insured and the insurance cost is part of your shipping cost.
To Track an Order:
The easiest way to track the progress of your order is to make an account here at Krafty Kats. If you did not make one when you placed your order, we will happily create one for you. Simply email us at: customerservice@kraftykatscuriosityshop.com. Please include your order number with your request.
Sometimes, orders can appear to be delayed because we ship our orders during the work week, i.e. Monday-Friday. During the holiday season, we do pack and ship on the weekends as needed. Because we are a small family run company, our shipping department is closed for school and national holidays.
Also, keep in mind that UPS estimates the number of business days in route only for the days in transit and does not include the weekend days in their estimates.

To ensure on time Christmas delivery, our elves are work tirelessly to pack and ship your orders.
We work very hard and hire extra elves at this time of the year but some times we do get a bit overwhelmed by all your awesome orders! So, we have a few suggestions to help make the holidays easier.

To ensure delivery by December 24th, your order must be placed before 1pm Pacific time Monday, December 17, 2012 for deliveries to most large cities in the United States. For rural areas in the United States, your order will need to be placed before 1pm Pacific time on Friday, December 14, 2012.

**The USPS tracks their packages but only guarantees delivery with Express Mail. However, in our experience, they have a very good on time track record especially with Priority Mail!
A potential shipping gotcha:
For media mail, it can take up to 21 days to receive your purchase. The USPS service stacks these items on a pallet to be shipped in bulk and these items can be delayed. Especially during the holiday season!
